Stock Keeping Policy

We have a simple system- if an item is in stock on our website, it is in our Darwin warehouse ready for 3day Express Shipping Australia wide. Once you have placed your online order, it will be picked and packed for immediate delivery.

This policy ensures there are no disappointments in searching for a product and adding it to your cart, only to find its not available – or worse, that its been backordered for a month! It won’t happen at DST.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy is absolutely our number one priority and consideration at all times. Privacy, security and discretion are our gaol! We will never under any circumstances release your personal details, ordering information or any other collected data to any third party whatsoever. This includes our suppliers, contractors or anyone else not employed by DST.

We don’t even keep your personal information – Once your order is shipped, we keep the information for 5 weeks to allow for any customer service or product enquiries that may result.

With regards to unsolicited emails from us, please note that this will not happen! When you place an order, we request the minimum personal details necessary to deliver the product including delivery address, contact name and an email address for order status updates. This email address will be used strictly to communicate the status of the order, and for other order specific customer service tasks. The only way you will get an email is if you sign up to recive our specials.

When the DST ordering system was designed we were happy with this level of security, but we wanted to go one step further.

Total Anonymity

No personal details such as your name, email address, delivery address and telephone numbers are retained in our database. What actually happens is that once an order is shipped, all your personal information is securely deleted from our database. There is no record of your purchase, except for your order reference number only known to you. As your email address is also discarded, you will never receive unsolicited emails from us ever again!

DST does not require the purchaser to specify their real full name, but for shipping reasons we require a contact name (first name) for the delivery address. You may choose to specify a nickname instead of your real name. However, for order status purposes you will require a real email address to receive your order number. If you prefer to not use your real active email address, you could easily establish an anonymous email address on services such as www.hotmail.com or www.yahoo.com.

In most cases you will use your real credit card to purchase the product. However, we do not store your credit card number in full. Only the first 4 and the last 4 digits are stored in our system. This is used to confirm the card number if we later need to raise a refund. Your card is charged for a moment then all identifying details discarded.

Only DST provides 100% Anonymous ordering. As we accept money orders for purchases, you may place your order using a non de plume or nickname, then visit your local Australia PostShop to purchase a money order for the order amount. Placing your Nickname on the money order, and posting it to the address that will be emailed to you will complete the order. The goods will be shipped to the nickname and address on your order.

Returns Policy

Due to the personal nature of the products we sell, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or returns for any products purchased. Any returns for faulty or defective products should be made within 30 days of purchase by contacting us via email or telephone, or via the website. Please contact us before returning any items and please be sure to purchase new batteries as this is the cause of the problem in most cases. Every product we sell is tested with the batteries provided before it leaves our warehouse to minimise any inconvenience caused with faulty goods.
